The Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT) was founded in 1971 by Dr. Nicomedes Salas as a private technical-vocational institution. Starting from a two-storey building with 130 students, it grew to having a number of 5-6 storey buildings hosting thousands of students. At present, it provides programs from preschool to post-graduate levels.
Along with the existing college programs it had for years, it has recently opened its doors to those who wish to proceed to Senior High School, with choices from:
